Location: Surrey/Hampshire border (clinic, community, and school settings)Salary: up to £47,000 per annumHours: Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday). Part-time and flexible working considered.

About Us

We are a small, friendly team of experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapists dedicated to helping children and young people grow, flourish, and thrive. Our practice is neurodiversity-affirming and family-centred, providing support across two sensory clinic spaces as well as in schools and the wider community.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist who wants to make a genuine difference and work within a supportive, collaborative team.

You will work both independently and alongside peers, supported by regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development. Your caseload will include assessment, intervention, and family coaching delivered across clinic and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete high-quality, holistic assessments using a range of standardised and non-standardised tools
  • Produce clear, strengths-based reports offering practical recommendations for home, school, and community life
  • Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group therapy sessions in clinic and school environments
  • Develop creative, goal-focused intervention plans in partnership with families
  • Work collaboratively with parents, educators, and other professionals
  • Contribute to service development, team projects, and reflective practice

Children and young people may present with a wide range of needs, including sensory processing differences, autism, developmental coordination disorder, cerebral palsy, and other neurodevelopmental or neurological conditions.

A qualified, compassionate clinician who values child-led, relationship-based, and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy practice.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Short specialist courses related to paediatric practice

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience supporting children with diverse developmental, neurodiverse, and physical needs
  • Ability to manage, prioritise, and plan an autonomous caseload
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills using standardised and informal tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of paediatric OT practice, child development, and neurodevelopment
  • Excellent report writing skills with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and build strong therapeutic relationships
  • Reflective practitioner committed to growth and service quality
  • Confident working collaboratively with families, school staff, and other professionals
  • Understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
