Reed Accountancy are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant, offering a superb opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation and play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager across all areas of accounting.
Experience with EXCEL Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is highly advantageous.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team of four, you will take on a broad and engaging remit, including:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparing monthly journal entries
- Completing daily bank reconciliations, including foreign currency transactions
- Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing fixed asset records
- Preparing prepayments and accruals
- Posting monthly payroll journals
- Working on the nominal ledger
- Full responsibility for the purchase ledger, from matching, batching and coding through to payment
- Sales ledger duties, including statement reconciliations
- Credit control activities
- Preparing VAT returns
This is an excellent career opportunity that would suit individuals with a bookkeeping qualification, AAT qualification or those currently studying. Applications are also welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience.
This role is office based.
