Electrical Shift Engineer - Canary Wharf - £50,500 + Outstanding Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile, site-based operation in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious commercial environment, offering stability, competitive pay, and genuine career progression into management.

The Role:

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the building's critical electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimum performance and minimal downtime. You will be part of a professional engineering team delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

* Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems

* Maintenance and operation of:

* AHU's (Air Handling Units)

* FCU's (Fan Coil Units)

* Emergency lighting systems

* Fire alarm testing

* Simtronic lighting systems

* 3-phase electrical systems

* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health & safety regulations

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

* Support contractors and specialist service providers when required

Shift Pattern:

* 4 on / 4 off (Days only)

* 07:00 - 19:00

Salary & Benefits:

* £50,500 per annum

Requirements:

* Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* Proven experience in a commercial or critical environment

* Strong fault-finding ability and technical knowledge

* Experience working with building services systems (AHUs, FCUs, etc.)

* Good understanding of health & safety regulations

* Ability to work effectively within a shift team
