Social Housing - Reactive Maintenance & Operations | Temp to Perm

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Repairs Supervisor to oversee reactive maintenance workstreams across a prominent social housing portfolio in Ealing.

Representing a leading property services provider, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality repairs, maintaining strict health and safety compliance, and driving operative productivity to meet and exceed contractual KPIs. This position is offered on a Temp to Perm basis, providing a clear pathway to a permanent leadership role within the organisation.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate of Pay: £27.00 per hour (CIS)

Contractual Status: Temp to Perm (Transitioning to a permanent salary and comprehensive benefits package)

Operational Support: Company-issued vehicle and fuel card provided from commencement.

Location: Primarily field-based across the Borough of Ealing.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Repairs Supervisor acts as the critical link between office-based scheduling teams and field-based delivery. Your focus will be on the technical integrity of works and the optimisation of the frontline workforce.

Technical Oversight: Perform detailed pre-inspections for complex maintenance requirements and comprehensive post-inspections to ensure all works adhere to the "Right First Time" principle and industry quality standards.

Performance Management: Monitor the daily productivity of a multi-trade workforce (including Plumbers, Carpenters, and Electricians), ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Compliance & Safety: Enforce stringent Health & Safety protocols. Responsibilities include conducting site safety audits, delivering toolbox talks, and ensuring all works are performed in strict accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

KPI Delivery: Drive the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing specifically on first-time fix rates and the reduction of job turnaround times.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a professional point of escalation for residents, resolving complex queries on-site and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Technical Background: A time-served apprenticeship or significant experience in a core trade (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multi-trade) is essential.

Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity within the Social Housing Reactive Maintenance sector.

Qualifications: * SSSTS or SMSTS (Required)

Asbestos Awareness (Required)

Competencies: Proficient in the use of mobile working technology (PDAs/Tablets) and capable of producing accurate technical reports.

Licencing: A full, valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Geographic Knowledge: Familiarity with the Ealing and West London area is highly advantageous for effective patch management.
