SALARY: £18000 - £22000/annum plus great company benefits

EAF Coordinator (Emergency Assistant) Hours: 4 on 4 off, including weekends public holidays, rotating shift pattern; 7-7, 8-8, 9-9pm. We have a fantastic opportunity for an EAF Coordinator to join our fast growing and innovative client based on Kings Hill. You will be working within an Emergency Assistance Facilities team that provides medical emergency to travellers worldwide who suffer injury, sickness or death while abroad. The main purpose of this will be to handle requests for assistance, obtaining case details and liaising with the in-house medical team and insurers. Responsibilities: * Manage customer expectations in line with the client’s operational guidelines * Provide a first class 24 hour emergency medical assistance to customers ensuring they are dealt with in a pleasant and courteous manner * Ensure that all case information is recorded accurately * Liaise with the in-house medical team and insurers to ensure the right kind of assistance is provided in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible * Provide a high level of customer service between the different lines of communications i.e. telephone, web chat and via email ensuring their enquires are dealt with efficiently and effectively * Ensure that the clients interests are protected at all times * Provide a high level of support to family members of patients in a caring and compassionate manner * Carry out all call backs in a timely manner in accordance with the internal timelines and provide regular reports on these to the Team Leader * Provide support, and become an integral part of, the Assistance Team helping within the operations/repatriation team when required Requirements: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential * Previous successful experience of an office based customer service role /call handling is essential * The ability to work under pressure * A foreign language would be beneficial but not essential * Have the ability to work within a team as well as under your own initiative * Excellent keyboard skills with both speed and accuracy, are also essential to the role * Experience of working shift patterns which include weekends, bank holidays and/or nights * Ability to empathise with people in stressful circumstances whilst being aware of the clients requirements often under significant pressure This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking, progressive company that have a genuine interest in your progression and development and take pride in offering their employees numerous benefits such as Fun company events, Private Medical Insurance, Discounted Travel Insurance and Gadget Insurance, a cycle to work scheme and Childcare Vouchers to name a few.
