Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinatorto join our team! You will perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages onboarding process for new employees
  • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
  • Accurately maintain employee files
  • Completes and submits all employment verifications
  • Completes and submits all EDD forms for unemployment and disability claims
  • Reconciles benefit invoices monthly
  • Updates the health benefit and AMB spreadsheet
  • Posts all employee Declination of Health Benefit forms on Employee Navigator and forward to credentialing for filing
  • Process Performance Assessments every Friday and update Survey Monkey as needed
  • Ensures that corporate employee files are complete, maintained, and up to date
  • Assist with annual benefits open enrollment
  • Assist with worker’s compensation claims
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS or BA in a related field or equivalent experience required
  • 2-5 years of related experience preferred
