We are looking for an experienced Timber Operative to join our busy Timber Division within a large, well‑established facility in Aldridge. This role involves creating bespoke timber packing solutions from drawings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistent workmanship.
🔨 Key Responsibilities- Manufacture bespoke timber crates, frames, pallets, and packing solutions
- Work from technical drawings with precise, concise measurements
- Cut, assemble, and finish timber products using various tools
- Follow production schedules and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Manual handling of materials up to 25kg
✔️ What You'll Need- Experience working with timber in a manufacturing, joinery, or carpentry environment
- Strong measurement skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Good understanding of workshop Health & Safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to lift and handle loads up to 25kg
