Are you looking to progress your Quantity Surveying career with a company that genuinely makes a difference? We're working with a well-established social housing contractor in Peterborough that's growing their commercial team and looking to bring on board an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business heavily involved in decarbonisation and retrofit projects, as well as planned maintenance works across social housing stock. You'll play a key supporting role in the commercial management of a wide range of sustainable refurbishment schemes-think energy efficiency upgrades, external wall insulation, solar PV, and boiler replacements.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting in the commercial management of retrofit and planned works projects
Supporting with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and variations
Cost control, forecasting, and reporting alongside the Senior QS
Liaising with project teams, clients, and supply chain to ensure smooth delivery
Ensuring compliance with commercial processes and frameworks

What We're Looking For:

Experience working on social housing or similar refurbishment projects
A good understanding of quantity surveying principles and commercial processes
Exposure to decarb or retrofit works is ideal (but not essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards
