Gas Engineer – Service & Breakdown (Temp to Perm)

Monday – Friday | 42.5 hours per week | No Call-Out

We currently have a vacancy with one of our leading Housing Association clients for an exiting temp-to-perm opportunity. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term, stable work within the social housing sector without the pressure of call-out duties.

THE ROLE:

As a Service & Breakdown Engineer you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance across domestic social housing properties. Your day to day will include:

• Carrying out repairs, servicing and fault finding on domestic gas boilers and appliances
• Completing 6-8 jobs per day on average
• Working efficiently using a PDA system
• Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Area: Waltham Forest
• Monday - Friday
• 42.5 hours per week
• Social Housing properties
• 6-8 jobs per day on average
• Work via a PDA
• No call-out rota

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heating/gas engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience within social housing
• Up-to-date gas qualifications (essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Checkable references
• Full availability Monday to Friday
