Job Title: Team Leader - Children's Residential Home
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour + £45 per sleep-in
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Rota: 2 on / 4 off (including sleep-ins)

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed Team Leader to join a children's residential care home in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be leading a team that supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. This role operates on a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern, offering great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support staff during shifts

Provide high-quality care and stability for young people

*

Promote independence and positive routines

*

Maintain clear records and support care planning

*

Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

*

Participate in sleep-in duties and the on-call rota

Requirements:

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential

*

Minimum 1 year of experience in children's residential care

*

Full UK driving licence - essential

*

Confident in leading a team and managing shift responsibilities

*

Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of Ofsted regulations
