Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing support and advocacy to help clients access resources and services to improve their mental health and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to individuals and families facing mental health challenges.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to services within the community.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably with diverse populations and varying levels of need.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines in all aspects of the job.
