A long-standing, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to add a confident Quantity Surveyor with experience in the social housing/residential sector.
The Quantity Surveyor's role
Based in London, the successful Quantity Surveyor will join a team of around 50 professionals who deliver a dual Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent role on public sector projects. These include a wide range of housing schemes, from developments of 10-15 houses through to projects delivering several hundred dwellings.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will also be involved in a number of newly secured recladding projects, acting as both Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent. Ideally, you will be confident leading meetings from day one.
The Quantity Surveyor
- MRICS or working towards
- 4+ years quantity surveying experience
- Comfortable acting as an Employers Agent and leading meetings
- Experience on refurbishment projects
- Residential or social housing experience is preferred
- Good pre and post contract knowledge
- Previously/Currently working within a Consultancy / PQS practice
