SR2 are hiring for a global Fintech company, who are a long-term client of ours who have seen impressive financial success and company growth over recent years. They're expanding their managed data services team and looking for an experienced Perl Software Developer to join them for building and maintaining solutions in Perl.

About the role

It's a small team, within a larger organisation - very close knit and collaborative. You will be responsible for automating data from all different financial sources, pull them together to make them much more user friendly for internal engineers to use within the business.

Other responsibilities will include working closely with their data development team to ensure that you are enhancing various scripts and processes!

Ideally, you will be based close to their Solihull office with the ability to go to the office on occasions - however, we are also open to receiving applications from candidates further away.

Essential skills & experience:

You'll be a self-starter with strong Perl experience, with the ability to work independently on tasks with very little hand holding needed.
