We are currently working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a reliable and experienced School Caretaker for a long-term temporary position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a school-based setting through a trusted education agency.

As a caretaker, you'll be a vital part of the school's day-to-day operations, ensuring the site remains secure, well-maintained, and supports a safe learning environment for staff and students.

Responsibilities include:

• General maintenance, minor repairs, and health & safety checks

• Site security including unlocking/locking the premises

• Supervising external contractors and liaising with school staff

• Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of school facilities

• Supporting with setup and breakdown of school events and exams

• Previous experience in a school or facilities/maintenance role

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures

• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through us)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract: Long-term, temporary (via agency)

• Hours: Full-time (may include early mornings or occasional evenings)

• Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
