This Trust provides high-quality education for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and wider SEND. Their academies span Alternative Provision and specialist schools, with a strong track record of impact, rapid growth, and a deeply embedded nurturing ethos.
Since formation, the Trust has experienced significant expansion, increasing its number of academies and pupil numbers substantially, and now seeks a CEO who can lead the organisation into its next chapter of development, sustainability, and excellence.
About the Role
As CEO, you will:
- Lead and oversee the efficient, effective and compliant management of the Trust and its academies.
- Drive the Trust Board’s ambitions for sustainable growth and long-term development.
- Provide strong strategic, educational and organisational leadership aligned with the Trust’s core values.
- Ensure consistently high-quality educational outcomes through effective use of resources, people, and partnerships.
- Act as a clear advocate for young people with SEMH and SEND needs, representing their voices locally, regionally and nationally.
- Build a positive organisational culture underpinned by reflection, professionalism and continuous improvement.
This role requires a visionary, commercially minded, and emotionally intelligent leader who can navigate complex educational and financial environments with integrity and purpose.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a leader who:
- Has proven experience leading a multidisciplinary organisation, ideally within or alongside the education or SEND sectors.
- Brings a commercially minded approach with strong strategic financial management experience.
- Can demonstrate high-level strategic planning, creative problem-solving and project leadership.
- Is skilled in building effective partnerships with local authorities, professionals, agencies and community stakeholders.
- Is passionate about inclusive education and the development of young people with additional needs.
- Is articulate, reflective, resilient and capable of inspiring confidence at all levels of the organisation.
- Can lead organisational change with compassion and clarity, while fostering a positive, sustainable staff culture.
What the Trust Offers
The Trust provides:
- A values-driven, nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Strong commitment to staff development and career progression.
- Access to Teachers’ and Local Government Pension Schemes.
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (including counselling, GP and physiotherapy services).
- Generous holiday allowances and additional wellbeing benefits.
- Salary sacrifice schemes, free annual flu jabs, free eye tests, and local leisure/gym partnership discounts.
