Job Specification: Stores Person / Stock Controller

Location: Kent (DA13)Contract Type: PermanentSalary: £27,000 – £30,000 (dependent upon experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Person / Stock Controller to manage IT stock across two on-site warehouses. This is a pivotal role ensuring stock accuracy, efficient workflow, and timely allocation of materials to engineering teams. You will take responsibility for deliveries, stock movements, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, ensuring all items are checked, recorded, and stored correctly.
• Manage stock movements across two on-site warehouses.
• Check stock in and out, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Allocate related materials for engineer call-outs.
• Maintain stock levels, ensuring availability of all required materials.
• Conduct regular stock checks and support periodic stock audits.
• Keep warehouse areas organised, safe, and compliant with internal standards.
• Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and management to ensure efficient stock control processes.
