Senior AV Technician (Level 3) – Contract (Outside IR35)

UK-wide (extensive travel, occasional international)

We’re looking for a Senior AV Technician (Level 3) to join on a contract basis, taking the lead on large, complex AV installations. If you thrive in high-pressure environments, love solving technical challenges, and can direct teams on-site, this role is for you.

Senior AV Technician (Level 3) What you’ll do

• Lead and supervise AV technicians on-site.
• Oversee installations: racks, cabling, soldering, terminations (XLR, RJ45, fiber, coax).
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot AV, control, and DSP systems (Biamp, Qsys, Shure).
• Act as site lead: liaise with trades, report to PMs, sign off projects.
• Handle networking (IP addressable devices, signal flow).
• Provide client training and support when required.

? Senior AV Technician (Level 3) What we’re looking for

• 6–8 years’ AV installation experience.
• Proven leadership on complex AV projects.
• Strong knowledge of advanced audio/video/control systems.
• Advanced IP networking understanding.
• Current CTS certification (required).
• Excellent troubleshooting & organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (UK & occasional international).

Senior AV Technician (Level 3) Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS-I
• Enterprise VC platform experience (Zoom, Teams, Cisco, etc.)
• Site lead/project lead background
