General Practice Surveyor

Our client is seeking a General Practice Surveyor to support our wider property services team, covering areas such as asset valuations, community asset transfer applications, community buildings review, and general estate management of the council's portfolio tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct asset valuations and assist in community asset transfer applications.
• Review community buildings and manage the general estate of the council's portfolio.
• Provide valuation, estates management, and surveying advice across various departments.
• Support projects involving the negotiation of the acquisition and disposal of land and property assets.
• Assist in statutory valuations and support the council’s accountancy functions.
• Produce and present reports for council representatives and act as the council’s property representative.
• Liaise with other departments in all aspects of valuation, estates management, and surveying work.
• Encourage adoption of value-for-money practices and new policies.
