My client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ALM Manager to oversee our Asset and Liability Management department in the financial services industry. This role is based on a hybrid basis in Cardiff and will require a keen understanding of balance sheet risks and financial modelling.

Description

Oversee the development of asset and liability management strategies.
Identify and manage balance sheet risks.
Prepare and present ALM reports to senior management.
Collaborate with different teams to develop financial models.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ALM function.
Support the training and development of the ALM team.Profile

A successful ALM Manager should have:

A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in Asset Liability Management.
Strong knowledge of balance sheet management and financial modelling.
High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
