About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a specialist school in Leatherhead. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by helping them access education, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and SENCOs
Requirements

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting preferred)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
