About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a residential development of under 100 units in Chipping Norton. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you'll help ensure the smooth running of site operations, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day site operations, including monitoring progress and coordinating subcontractors.

*

Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety compliance.

*

Ensure work is carried out in line with project specifications and build programme.

*

Help manage material deliveries and site logistics.

*

Carry out regular inspections and quality control checks.

*

Maintain clear site records, reports, and communication with the Site Manager.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on residential developments.

*

Valid CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

A hands-on, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn and grow.

Desirable:

*

Experience with traditional build or timber frame construction.

*

NVQ Level 4 (or working toward) in Construction Site Supervision or Management.
