Are you a talented and motivated Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We're delighted to be partnering with a leading, award-winning design and planning consultancy based in Cornwall, known for delivering creative, high-quality projects that shape some of the South West's most exciting developments.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, the team is now seeking an ambitious Senior Town Planner to join their collaborative planning department at their Truro office.

The Opportunity: You'll play a key role in delivering a wide variety of planning projects - from bespoke residential schemes and rural developments to large-scale mixed-use sites. Working alongside an in-house team of planners, architects, and landscape designers, you'll enjoy genuine project ownership and the chance to contribute to high-profile work across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals.

  • Provide strategic planning advice to a diverse client base including private developers, landowners, and architects.

  • Manage client relationships and liaise with local planning authorities.

  • Support and mentor junior colleagues as the team continues to grow.

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified (or actively working towards it).

  • Experience gained within a planning consultancy or local authority environment.

  • A strong understanding of the planning system, ideally with experience in rural or coastal development contexts.

  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and project management skills.
