Nursery Assistants and Nurses!

Pay: £11-£14 per hour

Availability & Time: Long Term - Monday-Friday - 8am-6pm - During & out of term time

Have you ever worked within a nursery environment?

Well here at Remedy Education, we are extremely excited to announce that we are currently looking to register Nursery nurses and Nursery assistants London have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification or above in childcare and a minimum of one year experience working within a nursery or early years industry willing to work across and within East, Southeast and South London having a minimum of a Level 2 qualification or above in childcare and or one year experience working within a nursery or early years industry.

This is an amazing opportunity for those who are wanting to continue to expand on experience and knowledge within Early Years in a private nursery environment. It is crucial that you can work from Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm within and out of term time. However, those who can work these hours but only a couple days a week will also be considered.

About the Nursery: The nursery is an outstanding rated private nursery who operate in multiple of locations and here at Remedy Education we will find you the closest nursery to yourself. The nursery is set based in a very spacious environment as well as having a spacious outdoor area. The nursery rooms are vibrant and bright which contain the latest facilities, toys, and gadgets purposely to make sure the children enjoy their time at nursery and encourage the personal development within the children.

DBS: It is a legal requirement that all Nursery Assistants and Nurses have a DBS when working with children. The DBS must be on the update system however if your DBS it isn't on the update here at Remedy, we can happily help you with the process and this will be discussed on the phone.

Travel Arrangements: All the nurseries are in locations with excellent transport links which includes regular buses and train links such as London underground and overground services as well as facilities. For those who drive there isn't an issue as there is accessible parking available.

Skills and requirements of Nursery Nurses and Assistants:

* 1 year+ experience within early years

* Level 2+ qualification within childcare or early years

* Clear enhanced DBS preferably on the update system (If you don't have a DBS on the update system, we can help with this and can be discussed on the phone)

* Being able to work individually and collaboratively in a team.

* Showing enthusiastic and be willing to learn

* Ensuring the children are always looked after and safe.

Duties and roles:

* Ensuring and making sure of the children's safety and safeguarding is always priority.

* Support and encourage all children in their social, emotional, and personal development.

* Creating a safe, fun and environment for the children

* To be able to manage a daily schedule this includes educational and fun activities, toilet breaks, Lunch time and nap time.

* Communicating effectively with the children, parents, colleagues, and professionals

* Feeding and changing the children

* Caring and nurturing attitude towards the children

* Ability to remain calm manner when under pressure.

* Working individually and within a team
