Quantity Surveyor - Civils / Highways - Bristol

Location: Bristol
Rate: £200 - £300 per day (DOE)
Start: Immediate
Duration: Min 3 months
Hours: 40 per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor working on civils and highways projects in the South West.

This is a great opportunity to work on a major project, supporting the commercial team and ensuring strong cost control and contract management throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Managing commercial aspects of projects or project sections

*

Subcontract procurement and tender evaluation

*

Cost control, valuations, and reporting (CVRs)

*

Managing change control and compensation events

*

Supporting cash flow through timely invoicing and payments

*

Working closely with delivery teams to ensure project success

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils / infrastructure

*

NEC contract experience essential

*

Strong understanding of change management

*

Experience in highways or large infrastructure projects

*

CSCS card required

This role offers a strong day rate and the opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on key infrastructure projects.
