Robert Half is currently engaging with a global communications organisation that is looking to recruit an Oracle Environment Manager for an initial 12-18 month contract based out of Reading to assist on an Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion ERP migration.

Role:

The Oracle Fusion Environment Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the Oracle Fusion environment, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion applications and related components.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute environment deployments and upgrades.
  • Monitor the performance and health of the Oracle Fusion environment, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Document environment configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Stay informed about new features, updates, and patches released by Oracle, evaluating their impact and implementing them as appropriate.
  • Provide training and support to team members and end-users on Oracle Fusion environment management and usage.

Profile

The Oracle Fusion Environment Manager should have the following:

  • Experience working on Oracle Fusion project whilst in the environment manager position
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Fusion applications, middleware, and databases.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, components, and integration points.
  • Experience with environment deployment automation tools and techniques (e.g., Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle WebLogic Server).
  • Solid grasp of IT security principles and best practices, with the ability to implement and enforce security measures within the Oracle Fusion environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
