POSITION: FINANCIAL ADVISOR ASSISTANT
· Learn, Assist, Educate & Develop Client / New Lead Relationships
· Achieve several Industry Securities Licenses
· Must have or obtain NASD Series 7 within 6 months of employment
· Must have or obtain a Series 6 within year 9 months of employment
· Must have or obtain a state life and health insurance license within year 1 of employment
· Ultimate goal of building a Client Book and to Graduate as a Financial Advisor within our Company MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assistant work directly with Financial Advisor with over 25 years of experience with 9 Industry Securities Licenses.
· Will perform a wide variety of administrative and sales support duties for the Financial Advisor and the firm Muriel Siebert & Co. Inc.
· Entails heavy phones, customer contact and other support functions for the team.
· Assistant will be educated on a variety of Investment Securities, Products & Services
· Become proficient in the development of client seminars
· General account maintenance
· Prepare and send necessary client and account service correspondence
· Answer phone in a friendly, professional manner
· Handle routine maintenance and service requests BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Two or more years of previous experience within the financial services industry
· Two years of college or related experience
· Experience in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer
· Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
· Ability to listen, learn and go above and beyond to get the job done.
