Job Description

Candidates will have a minimum of five years general office experience. Prefer purchasing skills with a manufacturing company. Must be computer literate, fast learner, self-starter and high energy.

Position: Purchasing Clerk

Work hours: Monday - Friday,
The job requires an individual who is flexible in work hours and time.


-Responsible for entering purchase orders, scheduling shipments, as well as monitoring and following up purchases.
-Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, and product
performance and inventories.
-Expedite the order and/or delivery of material to assure a timely and complete inventory to support
-General administrative functions.
-Ability to flex in other departments as needed.

-Must have strong communication and negotiation skills.
-Good initiative and use of judgment.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
-Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
-Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
-Conversant in English.
-Works well under pressure and able to work independently.
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel and able to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
-Ability to type 55 words per minute and touch ten-key.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
