Senior Management Accountant (Manufacturing)

The Role

We're looking for a commercially focused Senior Management Accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role sits at the heart of operational finance, providing key insight into performance, cost drivers, and profitability. You'll work closely with site teams and senior stakeholders to improve reporting, drive efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of operational systems and key cost drivers
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and centralisation
• Design and implement reporting to improve visibility across site performance
• Analyse packaging spend, manufacturing costs, and operational KPIs
• Produce and review monthly reporting including cost of sales and consumption data
• Lead analysis on waste, yields, and customer profitability
• Work closely with commercial teams to support tenders and pricing decisions
• Review SAP outputs to identify and resolve costing or data issues
• Ensure consistency in costing methodologies and reporting standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with Group and wider finance teams on key projects

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Previous experience within FMCG or manufacturing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident working with stakeholders across all levels
• Experience using SAP
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Able to work independently while contributing to a wider team
