We're looking for a Production Support Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for someone with experience in electronic or mechanical assembly who enjoys supporting production and improving processes.

You'll be a key link between designs and the production floor, helping to create and manage documents, check parts lists, and support the team in delivering high-quality builds.

Salary & Hours

£47k - £52k

Monday to Friday, on-siteResponsibilities

Create and maintain assembly documents to guide production teams
Input and check Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Ensure configuration control of all documents and packs
Support changes to designs and communicate with internal teams
Help production teams improve product yields and solve problems
Provide feedback on manufacturability to improve future builds
Assist in planning efficient methods and processes
Support quality activities and auditsRequirements

Experience in electronic assembly and reading technical drawings
Good understanding of components and production processes
Skilled with Microsoft Word; familiarity with MRP systems is a plus
