Engineering Technician - Soldering, Wiring & Assembly

Salary: £24,000-£35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

Performing high-quality soldering, wiring, and electronic/mechanical assembly.

Building, testing, and fault-finding on equipment using technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

*

Providing technical support and advice to customers, both over the phone and in person.

*

Carrying out on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

*

Ensuring all engineering tasks meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.

*

Supporting production, R&D, and project teams on a wide range of technical activities.

Skills & Experience

*

Experience as an Engineering Technician, Technician, Assembler, Electrical Technician, or similar.

*

Strong soldering and wiring skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Confident communicator able to engage with customers and solve practical problems.

*

Full UK driving licence preferred for travel and site work.

*

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.

*

Willingness to take on a broad mix of tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment.
