MIG Welder - Defence Manufacturing

We're recruiting MIG welders for a well-established defence manufacturer in Stockport. You'll be welding armoured steel or aluminium components for military vehicle platforms - high-specification work with long-term stability and secured programmes running years ahead.

What you'll be doing:

MIG welding on armoured steel or aluminium

Working to military standards, tight tolerances, and strict quality requirements

Producing components for next-generation armoured vehicle systems

What you need:

NVQ Level 3 in welding (or equivalent)

Proven MIG welding experience on relevant materials

Flexibility to support occasional night shifts when required (enhanced rate applies)

What's on offer:

£19.97 per hour

Overtime at x1.33, x1.5, and x2

Days-based role with early finish Fridays
