Interim Finance Analyst Required Immediately

Our client based in South Wales is looking for a Finance Analyst to come on board on a temporary basis for an initial 5 months.

Location: South Wales (home based with occasional travel to site)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Length of Contract: 5 months +

Hourly Rate: £18 - 25 via umbrella

Day to Day Duties:

• Analyse various data sources and report on staff claims
• Prepare monthly overtime accrual
• Support the production of budget reports
• Support modelling work to understand resource implications of alternative staffing models and scenarios
• Support various Costing projects
• Support the Value in Finance project specifically aimed at automating routine tasks and seeking out improvements to processes undertaken within the Finance Function
• Financial analysis and support to Finance Business Partners for specific projects

Essential Skills:

• Proficient user of Microsoft excel including use of pivot tables and complex formulae
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Ability to interpret data to analyse trends and forecasts and financial performance against plans
• Ability to undertake complex financial modelling and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and under own initiative

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of using Oracle and Qlikview
