Overview A well-established and growing industrial business is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a clear pathway to Operations Director. This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for driving performance, improving operations, and preparing the business for its next phase of growth.

The Role You will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a multi-faceted operation spanning manufacturing, service delivery, and logistics. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business while ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational activity across production, service, and logistics
- Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing leadership team
- Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety, and delivery performance
- Implement and refine operational systems, processes, and controls
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry and regulatory standards
- Take full ownership of P&L performance, cost control, and margin improvement
- Maintain strong visibility across all areas of the business
- Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and business expansion
About You
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (e.g. Operations Director, Managing Director, or similar)
- Background within manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial services
- Strong commercial awareness and operational expertise
- Track record of improving performance and scaling teams
- Decisive, resilient, and highly accountable
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
