Are you a qualified lecturer of Electrical Engineering with previous HE lecturing experience?

If so, we are working with a fantastic University in central London who are on the lookout for a Electrical Engineering Lecturer.

Location: Oxford Road, London

Job Title: Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Pay and working hours:

* Per hour/Salary: up to £45,000

* Working hours: 40

Role details:

* Ideally you will need to be flexible to teach on evenings and weekends either at the very least or both (if teaching on evening get the morning off, teaching on weekend will get a day off in the week) - They will try to offer as much flexibility as possible from their side (Business Operations hours are 9am - 9pm Monday - Thursday, Friday - Sunday 9am - 6pm) - Expected to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day over 5 days, will have two days off per week. Classes normally start 10am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm and 6pm - 9pm (for evenings) - can be allocated two classes per day. Timetable is for a 15 week period, each module is 3 hours per week.

* Has full right to work in the UK

* Lecturer role will require up to 18 hours per week of teaching - anything beyond this up to 40 hours over 5 days will be covers lessons, marking, assessment, pastoral care, and any additional responsibilities resource development etc. (Each module is 3 hours so up to 6 modules a week = 18 hours per week)

Essential requirements:

1. MA or MSc with 2 years minimum UK HE is teaching experience and teaching qualification PGcert, HEA fellowships, PGCE etc and /OR

2. MA or MSc and 5 UK HE teaching experience and /OR

3. PhD in the relevant field and minimum 2 years UK HE is teaching experience

* We teach a range off courses from level 3 foundation degree level through to level 7 master's level.

* We have 33 days of annual leave per year including bank holidays (25 + 8 days bank holiday) this does not include discretionary closure days over the Christmas period by CEO between Christmas eve and the New Year.

* Salary reviews within their role banding, within the academic year minimum of 12 months service which is considered based on performance through appraisal.

* Discretionary Bonus is subject to how well the company performs throughout the academic year - normally review of this is from October each year following the full academic year September - August.
