CNC Programmer Setter Operator / Setter Operator
Location: Birkenhead, Merseyside
40 hours per week day shift
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm

Actio engineering recruitment are assisting one of our well established precision engineering clients based in the Birkenhead area with their search for CNC Machinists.

We are looking for either a Programmer or a strong Setter Operator who is looking to take the next step in their career to become a programmer.

Key Responsibilities:

* Program, set and operate CNC lathes / milling machines with prototrak controls

* Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances

* Produce high-quality components in small to medium batch runs

* Conduct in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment

* Maintain production documentation and adhere to quality standards

Requirements:

* Proven experience in CNC machining with experience of or exposure to programming techniques

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
