The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established organisation that is expanding its children's residential services and is looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a newly renovated children's home in Leeds.
As Registered Manager, you will lead the registration process, development and day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the home delivers high-quality, child-centred care while remaining fully compliant with Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and Ofsted Quality Standards.
The home will support up to 4 young people and will be registered for LD / EBD / Autism. The property has been fully renovated to meet regulatory standards, creating a safe and high-quality environment for young people. The soft furnishings have intentionally been left for the new Registered Manager to choose, allowing you to add your own finishing touches and truly make the house feel like a home.

What This Role Delivers for You
- £60,000 starting salary
- Rising to £65,000 once the home is fully occupied
- £5,000 bonus when the home is registered and the first young person moves in

Systems & Operational Support

Your Responsibilities
- Lead the home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
- Create a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing residential team
- Ensure strong safeguarding and risk management practices
- Deliver person-centred care planning alongside multi-agency professionals
- Maintain high standards of record keeping and regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing, rotas and budgets effectively
- Ensure the home remains inspection ready at all times
About You
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children’s home
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted frameworks
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Full UK driving licence
