Overview

Our client is a dynamic, design-led architectural practice based in Warrington. They specialise in delivering thoughtful, contemporary architecture across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.

Due to their strong and constantly growing pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced  Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team and contribute to the technical excellence of their projects.

The Role:

You will play a key role in translating design concepts into detailed, buildable solutions. You'll work closely with the wider design team, external consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical standards, from early design stages through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate design information across disciplines and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations
Prepare and submit planning and building control applications
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues
Contribute to sustainable design strategies and material selection
Support project delivery across RIBA stages 3-6
Maintain awareness of current legislation, standards, and best practices

About you

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:

CIAT membership or working towards chartership (MCIAT preferred)
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in UK architectural practice
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Passion for design, sustainability, and technical innovation
