Venatu Recruitment currently have exciting opportunities for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join our client on a permanent basis.
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours of work: 40 hours per week (covering production hours)
You will be responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Maintenance in a manufacturing environment. You will be required to plan. manage, and monitor engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes and timelines and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion.
Role & Responsibilities
Must be able to work outside of normal production hours including Saturday and Sundays
To provide electrical and mechanical cover to all factory units.
Maintaining production lines.
Carry out general building maintenance while confirming to all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Manage and maintain all production machinery and associated ancillary plant.
Efficiently manage planned maintenance and repairs as required.
Carry out all duties in a safe working manner.
Manage and monitor all breakdown reporting sheets as required.
Prioritise all repairs as appropriate.
Ensure adequate supplies of day to day maintenance stock are available.

Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Relevant qualifications
Ideally 5 years experience within a similar role or apprenticeship
