Salary: £145 - £250/day

Position: Religious Education Teacher Key Stages 3 & 4

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Start date: ASAP - July 2023 (Potential to go permanent for the right candidate)

I am working with a Secondary school based in Watford. They provide exciting and challenging teaching which encourages students to want to learn and to be independent learners; young people who can think for themselves, express themselves easily and function in a wide variety of environments.

The role:

We are looking for a qualified Religious Education teacher who can teach key stage 3 and 4.

An up to date knowledge of the UK curriculum is essential.

ECTs will be considered for this role.

The successful applicant is expected to:

Qualifications - hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.
Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
