On behalf of the JCQ Awarding Bodies, AQA are recruiting people to join our team of Centre Inspectors across the UK. Our inspectors undertake visits to centres conducting timetabled exams and provide awarding organisations with assurance that relevant examination rules are being followed.

carry out other types of centre visits to reinforce specific requirements of the examination process, including secure storage, access arrangements and question paper and readiness inspections.

We're looking for people who:

have recent previous experience of the examination process, either within a centre as Examinations Officer, Deputy Head, Head, or equivalent relevant experience within an Awarding Body
have up-to-date knowledge of JCQ regulations and requirements
have the ability to communicate effectively and work calmly under pressure
are available to undertake multiple inspections in a range of dates during March-June, as well as being available to carry out other ad-hoc visits as necessary at other times of the year.

Inspectors must have a full driving licence. (This may be waived for Central London.)
