Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee production operations, ensuring smooth team management and on-time, accurate product dispatch. This role reports into senior leadership and is ideal for a strong, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the weekend production team, maintaining a positive, high-performance culture.

Own the OTIF metric and act quickly to address operational issues.

Plan and optimise production workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Allocate staff and resources effectively and resolve operational challenges.

Provide performance updates to senior leadership.

Support staff training and development.

Assist with inventory management and general operational duties.

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

Proven supervisory/management experience in a lean or fast-paced operational environment.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and resilience under pressure.

Proficiency with data and IT systems.

Flexibility to work weekend-focused hours.

Desirable:

Experience with lean or continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of health and safety requirements in production environments.
