Job Title: Engineering Manager

£70,000 + Company Benefits

Monday - Friday - Day Shift - 7AM - 4PM

We have partnered with a leading renewable energy company who are a leader in material processing, energy from waste and renewable energy production. The client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Manager to oversee their renewable energy site operations, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance.

* Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment.

* Explore opportunities to enhance efficiency of engineering practices

* Lead Capex projects across multiple sites

* Manage and improve preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.

* Support production teams to minimise downtime and optimise machine performance.

* Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to technical issues.

* Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical equipment availability.

Key Requirements:

* Level 3 / HNC or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).

* Experience within Recycling/waste, renewable energy, energy from waste, biomass, anaerobic digestion or similar heavy engineering industries

* Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance planning, and lean manufacturing.
