Senior Civil Technician (Infrastructure & Drainage)Fareham

An established and growing engineering consultancy based in Fareham is seeking a skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our infrastructure team.

They deliver a wide range of development infrastructure projects across the South Coast and beyond, supporting residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes from feasibility through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys technical responsibility and working within a collaborative, close-knit team.

Working as a Senior Civil Technician you will;

You will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure and drainage designs, supporting engineers and taking ownership of drawing production and technical coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed highway, infrastructure, and drainage drawings
• Designing and modelling surface water and foul drainage systems
• Producing S38, S278, and S104 technical packages
• Coordinating with engineers, clients, and external consultants
• Assisting with flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
• Ensuring compliance with local authority and statutory requirements

About You

• Proven experience as a Civil Technician within a UK consultancy
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and drainage design standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience desirable)
• Experience producing adoptable highway and drainage layouts
• Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK design standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
