An engineering company based in Tipton are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to join their expanding team. As a laser operator you must be comfortable setting the machine and selecting the correct programmes.

Hours are 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / Monday - Friday.

Full-time, Temporary, Permanent

Salary: £12.50 per hour £14.00 depending on experience ( Great overtime rates )

THE JOB ROLE

* Operate and set an Amada laser

* Perform typical laser cutting and setting operations

* Read and interpret blueprints, process sketches, and understand measuring instruments

* Maintain inspection equipment and all support equipment necessary to complete jobs on Laser

* Perform all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as required.

* Use precision instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts
