FLT Counterbalance & Bendi Driver

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Logistics company in their search for an experienced FLT Counterbalance & Bendi Driver to work in their leading facility in Telford

For the successful FLT Counterbalance & Bendi Driver our client is offering;

1. Starting pay rate of betwee £8.50 per hour, rising to £9.00 come April.
2. 8.00 am - 17.00 pm Monday to Friday
3. Temporary - Permanent position
4. Free parking
5. Pension scheme (once full time)

FLT Counterbalance & Bendi Driver - The Role;

1. To carry out final packing according to set procedures, checklists and works order requirements.
2. To weigh finished goods pallets
3. To load finished goods onto despatch vehicles as required, working from a picking list.
4. Unload incoming goods, checking quantities, paperwork and delivery to the relevant department.
5. Ensure the safe receipt, storage and issue of solvents.
6. Ensure that the Warehouse and Pallet Yard are swept and maintained to a clean and orderly condition.
7. Monitor stocks of packing materials, draw attention to shortages and carry out regular stock checks as required.
8. Undertake daily inspections and battery top-ups of Forklift trucks.
9. As a trained Forklift Truck Driver to carry out all duties safely so as not to endanger self, others or property and to report all faults and incidents.
10. Provide holiday/sickness absence overtime cover as necessary if available.

What our client is looking for;

1. You must hold current Counterbalance & Bendi licenses
2. Previous experience on both trucks is essential.
