Salary: £70 - £85/day

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) in a school in Newbury. 

Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons
Provide support to individual students or small groups of students
Work closely with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support the needs of students
Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Monitor and record student progress and provide regular updates to the class teacher and SENCO
Provide support for students with during school trips and other extracurricular activities
Requirements:

Experience working with children 
Strong understanding of the needs of students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of individual students
Qualification in teaching assistant or related field is preferred but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
