Join our Clients team in West London as a full-time Lecturer in Professional Cookery. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the culinary arts and education, ready to teach across various Hospitality programmes and contribute to our vibrant learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Teach VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Instruct Apprenticeship Standards – Level 2 Production Chef, Level 2 Commis Chef, and Level 3 Chef De Partie.
- Engage and inspire young learners aged 16-18 through dynamic teaching methods.
- Utilise the section’s restaurant, Revisco, which is open to the general public, as a practical learning environment for students.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and encourage student participation in all aspects of culinary education.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery.
- Experience as a Chef in the Catering/Hospitality industry.
- Proven teaching experience in the subject area.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification (financial support provided by the College).
