SHIFTS: Mon - Sun (MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH DAYS) Days/Nights shifts from 6.30am

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Forklift Driver to join our client based in Stanford-le-Hope. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and supporting general warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and stock movement.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, all candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks (Counterbalance and/or Reach) safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers
• Transport and store stock within the warehouse
• Ensure products are handled and stored with care and accuracy
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and stock checks
• Always comply with all health and safety procedures
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate stock and movement records where required
• Support delivery or collection runs if necessary (driving licence required)

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - essential
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
• Understanding of warehouse health and safety standards
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
