Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Devizes

Salary and Incentives: £48,300, Pension, Private Healthcare and great holiday

Shifts: 4 days 4 off 4 nights 4 off

The Company

My client is an industry leading food manufacturer, they lead many different sectors of food that vary between sweet and savoury. The company have a turnover north of 1.7bn a year. The site was taken over by my client 5 years ago and has had heavy investment to keep the machines and tech state of the art. This site alone had a turnover of £45million making it a key site for my client. Working on this site you will be joining 570 over 8000sq foot. The company provides to many major supermarkets across the UK. My client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help and keep the production line running efficiently as possible.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer your roles will include:

Working as part of a team in high pressure scenarios
Your responsibilities will include firefighting efficiently to keep the production line running as optimally as possible.
General checking of the production line
Within your role you will be working with mechanical and electrical components
You will be working with a variety of machines including the likes of Conveyors, Ovens, Mixers, Depositors, Palletisers, Slicers, Packaging
The Candidate

The ideal candidate that I am looking for is:

I am looking for an Engineer for my client who is able to work as part of a team and has good communication skills
You will need a recognised engineering qualification
You will be joining a team from various backgrounds
I am looking for someone that is able to work well in high pressure situations to be able to keep the production line flowing
