Maintenance Engineer

Permanent Position

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Days shift or 6am - 2pm rotating to 2pm - 10pm available

Based in Birmingham

Details for a Maintenance Engineer

• Maintain and Improve availability targets for key performance equipment.
• Previous Maintenance Engineer experience required
• Reduce changeover times for adaptability and capacity to within agreed targets, to be individually agreed per WorkCentre (TBA)
• Define and improve technical changeovers using lean techniques (i.e. SMED)
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to Production, Engineering & Manufacturing
• Ensure all tasks are completed to the correct product quality standards
• Support Production with equipment modifications and new product introduction.
• • Time served apprenticeship to HNC level or similar qualification in a related engineering field and experience within a similar role
  • Multi-skilled training with ideally an electrical bias
  • PLC fault finding and modifications experience (Preferred)

Working hours of a Maintenance Engineer

• 37.5 hours per week - Day shift or rotating 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
• Based in Birmingham
• £45k to £55k per annum (depending on experience)
• Permanent position
• Manufacturing and production background an advantage
